Transport for London (TfL) has disclosed that it is currently dealing with an "ongoing cybersecurity incident." While specific details of the breach have not been released, TfL has confirmed that there is no evidence indicating any compromise of customer data.
In response to the incident, TfL has enlisted the help of the National Crime Agency (NCA) and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) to assess the impact and investigate the breach.
Shashi Verma, TfL’s chief technology officer, stated, "We have implemented several measures within our internal systems to address the ongoing cybersecurity issue. The security of our systems and customer data remains a top priority, and we will continue to monitor the situation both during and after the incident."
