UAE Cybersecurity Council Warns of High-Risk Vulnerabilities in Google Chrome

UAE residents using Google Chrome were urged on Friday to ensure they have the latest version of the browser installed, following a security advisory issued by the country's Cybersecurity Council.

The advisory highlighted the detection of "several high-risk vulnerabilities" in Google Chrome that could potentially allow attackers to execute code on a system.

To address these vulnerabilities, Google released a security update a few days ago. Therefore, users are strongly advised to update their Chrome browser immediately.

Updating to the latest version is crucial to safeguard against potential breaches or leaks of personal information and data, as well as other malicious activities, cautioned the UAE Cybersecurity Council.
